Product Details:

Spinn Mechanical Comparator is a multi tasking measuring instrument. The instrument can be used for a variety of tasks such as comparing the measurements of parts to their specifications, detecting wear and tear, and ensuring that components are within tolerance limits. It can measure both external and internal diameter of components, making it a versatile tool in any metrology setting. Unlike direct measurement tools (like micrometers or calipers), the comparator is designed for comparative measurements. It compares the test object to a reference standard, such as a gauge block or master part. 

A typical mechanical comparator uses a dial indicator or gauge to display the deviations from the reference. The dial provides
    a clear visual of the dimension being measured.

The Universal Instruments Mechanical Comparator is an instrument for measuring different parameters like outside diameter, inside diameter, ovality, squareness to end face of bearing rings. The Mikrokator principle greatly magnifies any deviation in size so that even small deviations produce large deflections of the pointer over the scale. The transference of movement from the measuring tip to the pointer is mechanical, completely friction less and free from backlash.
